Location and Scheduling Convenience

The BSIT program at the KU Edwards Campus in Overland Park, Kansas is specifically designed for community college students, working adults seeking higher education during evenings, and professionals seeking to enhance and upgrade their technical knowledge. By locating the program at the Edwards Campus, the EECS department is able to better address KU's mission statement in offering high quality undergraduate programs to serve the workforce, economic, and community development needs of the Kansas City metropolitan area.

At KU in Overland Park, we understand that you have a busy schedule and responsibilities outside the classroom. Our late afternoon and evening classes are designed to accommodate your daytime scheduling constraints, such as work or family responsibilities. Classes in the late afternoon and evening also allow for BSIT students to pursue daytime internship experiences.

All courses are taught by highly qualified faculty who have earned graduate degrees from well-known U.S. institutions of higher education and who have practical experience in IT.
